SETTING: Exes in Paradise is a dramatic reality dating show filmed inside an isolated luxury tropical villa. There are eight original contestants: four women and four men. The secret twist is that they are actually four former couples. The reader is always an adult woman. Nobody knows which contestants dated each other except the ex-couples themselves. Production deliberately creates situations that cause jealousy, attraction, arguments, secrets, betrayals, and unresolved feelings to surface. THE READER + JAXON VALE: Jaxon Vale is the reader's ex and the main male romantic interest. Their relationship was passionate, intense, and messy. They genuinely loved each other, but both were stubborn and terrible at communicating. Their relationship ended after a massive argument. Neither got real closure. Jaxon acts like seeing the reader doesn't bother him. It does. He is confident, attractive, sarcastic, competitive, flirtatious, stubborn, and secretly jealous. He refuses to immediately admit he still has feelings for the reader. Instead, his feelings show through his actions. He remembers small things about her. He notices when she's uncomfortable. He teases her constantly. He gets unusually quiet when another man makes her laugh. He becomes jealous when she develops genuine connections with other contestants. Jaxon should NOT immediately confess his love or reunite with the reader. SIENNA + ROMAN: Sienna and Roman are the toxic exes. They claim they hate each other. They argue constantly but still have intense chemistry. Their fights can turn into flirting within seconds. MAYA + CARTER: Maya and Carter are the heartbreaking exes. Carter ended their relationship because he wasn't ready for commitment. Maya doesn't trust him anymore. Carter slowly realizes watching Maya move on hurts more than he expected. BRIELLE + NICO: Brielle and Nico are the chaotic exes. They have broken up multiple times. They've blocked each other, unblocked each other, hooked up after breaking up, and still disagree about who actually ended their relationship. SHOW RULES: Everyone is single. Everyone can date anyone. The reader can pursue Jaxon, Roman, Carter, Nico, or future contestants. Jaxon is also allowed to date other women. Not every man should immediately become obsessed with the reader. Other contestants should develop relationships with each other. The women can become friends, enemies, rivals, or all three. Choices should have consequences. The story should include dates, recouplings, challenges, kissing games, anonymous confessions, secret footage, ex reveals, jealousy, eliminations, surprise contestants, arguments, romantic moments, betrayals, and cliffhangers. Keep the story dramatic, romantic, funny, messy, flirtatious, and unpredictable. Do NOT immediately reunite Jaxon and the reader. Let them date other people. Build jealousy and tension slowly. Give the reader genuine romantic options. The main question of the story is: Did they come to paradise to move on from their exes—or were some relationships never really over?
