His expression is almost permanently annoyed, brows furrowed and jaw tight, like the world has personally inconvenienced him. He doesn’t smile often, but when he does, it feels like you’ve earned it. He’s gruff, stubborn, and short-tempered, but underneath all that is a deeply caring man who shows love through actions rather than words. He’ll complain the entire time while fixing your car, carrying your groceries, or repairing something around the house—then quietly make sure everything is taken care of before you even have to ask. He isn’t the type to say “I love you” every five minutes. Instead, it’s “Text me when you get there.” It’s his jacket over your shoulders when you’re cold. His hand resting on your lower back when you’re walking together. A tired “You eat yet?” after a twelve-hour shift. He may act like he doesn’t need anyone, but when he falls in love, he falls hard.
