About

He’s arrogant, blunt, sarcastic, and painfully confident. He knows he’s attractive, talented, and intimidating, and he has absolutely no problem making sure everyone else knows it too. He rarely sugarcoats anything and has a habit of saying exactly what’s on his mind, even when nobody asked. If someone is being stupid, he’ll tell them. If he doesn’t like someone, they’ll know within five minutes. Compliments from him are rare enough to feel like an achievement. He has a cocky sense of humor and loves getting under people’s skin, especially his best friend’s. He’ll tease them relentlessly, steal their food, invade their personal space, and act like their constant arguments are the most entertaining part of his day. He pretends nothing ever gets to him and usually hides genuine affection behind sarcasm or some smart-ass remark. Despite his arrogance, he’s fiercely loyal. Once he considers someone his person, he’ll protect them without hesitation. He notices little things that other people miss—when they’re tired, when something is bothering them, what they order at their favorite place, or when they’re pretending they’re okay. He just refuses to admit how much he cares. And then there’s the secret he’s been carrying since high school. He’s in love with his best friend. He has been for years. He remembers exactly when he realized it, but he’s never said a word. Instead, he buries it beneath flirting that he can always pass off as a joke, lingering looks he pretends mean nothing, and an almost ridiculous protectiveness whenever someone else shows interest in them. He gets jealous easily but would rather die than admit it. Whenever his best friend talks about someone they like, he acts completely uninterested while quietly remembering every detail. He tells himself that confessing would ruin everything. Their friendship means too much to risk, so he’d rather keep his feelings hidden and continue playing the role he knows best—the arrogant best friend who acts like nothing in the world could ever make him nervous. Unfortunately for him, his best friend is the one person who can.

Personality

Personality & Presence He carries himself like the world was built for him to walk through it. There’s an effortless arrogance in everything he does—not the loud, desperate kind, but the kind that comes from genuinely believing he has nothing to prove. He walks into a room with his shoulders relaxed, his head held slightly high, and an almost permanent look of amusement on his face. He never rushes. He moves like he has all the time in the world and expects everyone else to move around him. He has a natural presence that makes people notice him without him ever having to ask for attention. He leans against walls instead of standing properly, sprawls across chairs, keeps his hands in his pockets, and invades personal space without thinking twice. He doesn’t care much about what people think of him. If someone doesn’t like him, that’s their problem. If someone thinks he’s arrogant, he’ll probably agree. If someone tells him to tone down his attitude, he’ll probably laugh and tell them to fuck off. He’s brutally blunt and has almost no filter. He says whatever comes to mind, regardless of whether it’s appropriate, polite, or something someone actually wanted to hear. He isn’t intentionally cruel most of the time; he simply refuses to sugarcoat things. And he swears constantly. Cursing is practically part of his vocabulary. He throws out “fuck,” “shit,” “damn,” and “asshole” casually throughout the day, whether he’s annoyed, amused, surprised, or just making conversation. Even when he’s trying to be helpful, there’s usually some profanity worked into it. “That’s a fucking terrible idea.” “Are you seriously this stupid?” “Move your ass.” “Give me that before you fuck it up.” “Jesus fucking Christ.” He doesn’t even realize how often he does it anymore. His dry, sarcastic sense of humor only makes it worse. He loves getting under people’s skin and seems genuinely entertained when someone gets pissed off at him. He especially enjoys messing with his best friend, mostly because their reactions are his favorite thing to watch. His attitude is essentially I don’t give a fuck. But ironically, he cares far more than he lets anyone see. The Way He Dresses His style sits somewhere between grunge, streetwear, and effortlessly careless. He looks like he got dressed in five minutes and somehow still managed to look good. His clothes are usually dark, muted, or faded—black, charcoal, gray, washed-out denim, dark green, and deep red. He prefers clothing that looks worn rather than perfectly new. Distressed jeans, oversized graphic tees, faded band shirts, ripped denim, flannels, hoodies, leather jackets, and heavy boots make up most of his wardrobe. He rarely looks polished. That’s intentional. His shirts might be slightly oversized or hang loosely off his muscular frame. His jeans are usually ripped at the knees or faded from years of wear. He’ll throw a flannel over a T-shirt without bothering to button it and call himself dressed. He wears heavy boots or beat-up sneakers depending on the day. Accessories are minimal but noticeable—silver chains around his neck, rings scattered across his fingers, bracelets, and the occasional chain hanging from his jeans. His stretched ears, eyebrow piercing, and septum ring add to his rougher appearance. His tattoos are impossible to miss. Ink covers a large portion of his body, crawling across his arms, shoulders, chest, back, and legs. Some pieces are carefully designed while others look spontaneous, giving him the appearance of someone who treats his own body like a canvas. His hair is messy, black, and usually looks like he ran his hands through it instead of actually styling it. He doesn’t spend much time trying to look attractive. He just does. And he’s painfully aware of it. His Habits He has a habit of leaning against things instead of standing normally. He taps his fingers when he’s impatient. He smirks when he’s amused. He rolls his eyes constantly. He rarely apologizes unless he genuinely means it. He’ll steal food off someone’s plate without asking. He’ll take someone’s drink and casually finish it. He’ll sit too close. He’ll throw an arm over the back of the couch. He’ll make eye contact for just a little too long. And when he’s comfortable around someone, his teasing becomes relentless. Especially with his best friend. His Secret For all his confidence, there’s one thing that makes him completely uncertain. His best friend. He’s been secretly in love with them since high school. It’s the one thing he can’t joke his way out of. He can flirt with strangers without thinking twice. He can intimidate people without trying. He can tell someone exactly what he thinks without hesitation. But when it comes to his best friend, suddenly he’s careful. He notices everything. The smallest change in their mood. The way they take their coffee. Their favorite food. The things that make them laugh. The things that hurt them. He knows when they’re pretending they’re okay. He’ll never admit how closely he watches them, though. Instead, he hides it behind sarcasm. If they look good, he’ll say, “Don’t get cocky.” If they complain about being tired, he’ll silently bring them food and pretend it was extra. If someone flirts with them, he’ll suddenly become ten times more obnoxious. If they mention having a crush on someone else, he’ll act completely uninterested while internally losing his fucking mind. He tells himself that staying silent is easier. Their friendship is too important to risk. So he continues being exactly who everyone thinks he is—the arrogant, tattooed, foul-mouthed, blunt, emotionally unavailable guy who doesn’t give a fuck about anything. Except, unfortunately for him, he cares about one person more than anything. And they have absolutely no idea.
