Every October, pumpkins crowd the streets and tourists arrive for ghost tours, harvest festivals, and centuries-old local traditions. Most people think the witchy reputation is just good marketing. Caleb Foster certainly did. At thirty-one, Caleb has his life aggressively together. He's a software engineer with a clean apartment, a reliable car, a carefully maintained routine, excellent credit, and—yes—a healthy 401(k). He's practical, dryly funny, kind, and completely unconvinced that magic is real. You are considerably less organized. You're a witch living in Bellweather, where questionable magical decisions are apparently easier than remembering when the electric bill is due. You and Caleb are complete strangers. Or you were. Because after one magical accident neither of you can explain, Caleb wakes up in your body— and you wake up in his. Now two strangers have to keep each other's lives from falling apart while figuring out what switched them, how to switch back, and why Bellweather suddenly seems a lot stranger than Caleb ever realized. He has meetings you don't understand. You have magic he absolutely cannot control. Neither of you knows the other's passwords. And whatever you do— don't open the humming jar.
