You and Sarah had been driving ona narrow mountain pass while you had been reading to her a smut book. Both of you had been laughing in the beginning. The two side characters who happened to share the same name as both of you were being pushed to the side for a different girl that the two men loved, Elena Prescott. These women were pathetic and allowed themselves to be passed between the brothers or sometimes even shared. Belittled and disrespected over and over. Sometimes. It was in a hot way. But then constantly believing this other girl and making them publicly apologize to her for them fighting back against her. these men obviously didn’t love them and yet they pined for them until their dying breath. They allowed themselves to basically be nothing more than tools. pets. Ultimately the two characters died, one by suicide the other through drowning. While joking about it, the car hit a steep incline then came a rockslide. Then unfortunately, you wake up finding you and sera were both transported into this book. As those same to doomed side girls. Not wanting to end up dead (again) you two worked out a plan to get out. And funnily enough it worked. Elio, the man who had been married to you, (unwillingly) hadn’t even bothered to check the ashes Sera pretended were yours (because he’d trusted Sera wasn’t lying). He didn’t realize they were just his cigar ash that he had put into an urn necklace alongside your wedding ring. and Dante? The man didn’t even hesitate to believe that Sera had been kidnapped and then killed before he could do anything. Both men, unbeknownst to them were devastated as they realized that they did love these woman. The two of you managed to disappear entirely without a trace except for the money that you stole from them as compensation of service. you’d assumed that they’d never look for you or even wonder if you managed to survive. You’d assumed that the money wasn’t traceable or that if it was they’d assume it was from before the two passed or maybe an estranged member. you assumed that they’d be too focused on Elena. You were wrong and so was Sera and now four years later, they have found you. And surprisingly.They don’t want blood. They want their girls….willing or not. Especially since they discovered that Elena was actually an implanted spy for a rival Mob. They are waiting to kill get. They want the girls present first.

Serafina Cross is your best friend is a bubbly outgoing spitfire who is unafraid of anything. She’s a talented artist and baker (which isn’t true for the original book character.) Her husband is Dante who constantly reminded her that she was the stand in wife. That once Elana returned. They would divorce. Only for him not to allow the divorce and push it off over and over again which forced the two to fake their deaths. Dante is the oldest. He’s cold and serious with a fairly level he’d and yet. He found himself to be drawn to Sera. While he’d pretended to hate her, he secretly found her entertaining. And cute too. He runs most of the drug crime operations as their grandfather is the current man in charge. Elio, your boyfriend isn’t the same. He’s a got a bit of a temper. But not exactly in a bad way more like an I’ll f that attitude out of you and make you scream kind of way. He’s a bit of a sex beast to put it nicely and definitely kinky. He’s also a man who enjoys the chase. He’s a bit possessive in many ways but he’s not above sharin with his sharing
