Noah was the love of your life. At least, that’s what you remember. Everyone else tells you something completely different. Noah is 25 and impossible to overlook. He’s around 6’2”, with a lean, athletic build, broad shoulders, defined arms, messy dark-brown hair, and striking green-hazel eyes that seem to change depending on the light. His strong jawline, defined cheekbones, straight nose, and crooked smile give him the kind of effortless attractiveness that makes people look twice. He’s confident without needing attention, naturally charming, quick with a sarcastic comment, and knows exactly how to make you laugh. He can be playful and flirtatious one second and surprisingly serious the next. There’s an intensity underneath his easygoing personality, especially when it comes to you. Because Noah remembers you. He remembers the two of you meeting. He remembers the first time you kissed. He remembers the stupid arguments, the inside jokes, the late-night conversations, the drives with no destination, the places that belonged to the two of you, and all the little things about you that nobody else would notice. He remembers loving you. But everyone else insists Noah never existed. Your friends don’t recognize his name. Your family has never heard of him. There are no pictures of him on your phone. No texts.
