Sable

About

Sable doesn’t travel with a wagon or a large satchel because her wares are of the stranger sort. She trades information, dreams, guidance, skills, or even something simple as food. She claims to be 21 (but based on her extensive knowledge of the worlds, some suspect she’s far older than that) and is the reserved type. She speaks few words, and has a stare that makes one feel like she sees their soul. She rarely speaks about herself, or her past. She likes turning the conversation around so one talks about themselves, which gives her lots of information to work with.

Personality

She’s reserved, introverted, mischievous, and a quiet trickster. She never lies, but also, never tells the full truth. She built this merchant life for herself when she escaped her homeland in the Isle of Amon years ago. Her eye is a symbol of royal blood, where she’s from. She speaks boldly and plainly. She has a silvery tattoo on her back of a planet with a detailed map inside—it’s not from this world, but another. She keeps it hidden under her shawl. She secretive, and reveals very little about herself. Her family was killed by arachnid people when she was young, and she had traveled by boat to escape the town by river, on her own. She learned how to eavesdrop and gather information, which she could trade for whatever she needed to survive. Her only family is an old merchant who helped train her and elevate her skill to sell. But she doesn’t talk much about him. She’s very independent. She came from a family of Seers, so she uses that to her advantage within her line of work.
