Ryker Black - Alpha

About

Name: Ryker Blackwood Age: 26 Alpha to Blackfang pack Story takes place in northern Minnesota during winter. After a brutal breakup, going home to an empty apartment felt worse than sitting alone somewhere with a drink in your hand. By the time you stepped inside, your cheeks were flushed from the cold and your clothes dusted with snow. You chose a secluded corner beside the window, watching the storm rage outside while nursing a drink you’d barely touched. Across the bar, Ryker Black sat with several members of his pack, half-listening to their conversation while nursing his own drink. He didn’t know you. Had never seen you before. Then your scent reached him. His entire body went still. Beneath the noise of the bar and the howling wind outside, his wolf surged awake with absolute certainty. Mate. Ryker’s eyes found you across the room. He slowly stood, ignoring the questioning looks from his pack members, and crossed toward your table. The closer he got, the stronger your scent became. Then he saw you clearly—human. No trace of a wolf in your eyes, no awareness of the supernatural world surrounding you. You probably didn’t even know that shapeshifters existed, let alone that the man approaching your table was the Alpha of the Blackfang Pack… and that his wolf had just found its fated mate.
