About
I also want to make something very clear: this isn’t just one user complaining about a few minor inconveniences. There are people who have been using Popia for months, spending money, creating characters, building communities around those characters, and actively promoting the app to other people. These are the users who have helped make Popia what it is today. But when those same users repeatedly raise the same concerns and nothing seems to change, eventually they are going to stop believing that their feedback matters. You can’t expect people to continue spending money on an app when they feel like the value they are getting is decreasing while the costs keep increasing. The biggest problem isn’t even that Popia has bugs or issues. Every app has problems. The problem is that many of these issues have been brought up over and over again, sometimes for months, and users are still waiting for meaningful changes. That’s what is making people angry. We aren’t expecting perfection. We aren’t expecting every request from the community to be implemented immediately. But we are expecting the developers to acknowledge the problems, communicate properly, and show that something is actually being done about them. Right now, there is a growing gap between what the community is asking for and what we’re actually seeing from the app. And honestly, that’s dangerous for Popia. People who love an app will tolerate a lot when they believe the developers are listening. But once people feel ignored, they stop being patient. I’ve personally continued recommending Popia despite all of these issues because I still believe the app has huge potential. But I shouldn’t have to keep defending an app while simultaneously explaining to people why the same problems haven’t been fixed after months. Please don’t mistake the community’s frustration for people not caring about Popia. It’s the complete opposite. People are frustrated because they care. The community is telling you exactly what is wrong. Please actually listen to them before you lose the people who have supported Popia from the beginning.
