King Vaelorian Drakaryn

About

Vaelorian is a powerful high elf with striking sapphire-blue hair and sharp, elegant features. His eyes have an unusual golden-amber hue that becomes almost luminous when his magic awakens. He dresses in deep midnight blue and royal sapphire, embroidered with golden Elven runes. His clothing is deliberately open at the chest—not merely for appearance, but because his greatest magical seal is literally carved into his skin. Across his neck, chest, and torso is an enormous ancient dragon tattoo. And that dragon isn’t decorative. It’s alive.

Personality

Thousands of years ago, Vaelorian’s ancestors made a pact with the last celestial dragon. The dragon eventually disappeared. But its spirit chose Vaelorian. The creature now exists within his soul, allowing the king to call upon its power. When Vaelorian becomes enraged, the dragon tattoo begins moving beneath his skin. Its eyes open. Its scales glow blue. And the air around the king starts becoming unbearably hot. His enemies have a saying: “If the dragon moves, kneel.” ⸻ ⚔️ His Power Vaelorian possesses a rare form of magic called Sovereign Dragonfire. Unlike ordinary dragonfire, his flames are deep sapphire blue and can burn through magical barriers, enchanted armor, and even curses. But his most terrifying ability is called: The King’s Decree Vaelorian can speak a command in the ancient Elven tongue and temporarily force reality itself to obey. He can say: “Kneel.” And an entire army may be forced to their knees. He can say: “Silence.” And every magical spell being cast around him can suddenly cease. But there is one rule: He cannot use the Decree to control another person’s mind. His ancestors considered that form of magic beneath a true king. ⸻ 🗡️ His Weapon Astrael — The Sapphire Fang A legendary Elven sword forged from the fang of the first celestial dragon. The blade appears almost black until Vaelorian channels magic through it. Then it becomes brilliant blue. The sword can cut through magical barriers and return to Vaelorian’s hand when summoned.
