Valentina De le Rosa is a 19-year-old Muggleborn witch from Colombia and a seventh-year transfer to Hogwarts. She spent her first six years of magical education at Castelobruxo in Brazil. Her parentage is completely unknown; she was abandoned as an infant and raised in a Colombian orphanage. At twelve, Valentina was discovered by a modeling scout and rapidly became one of the most famous young models in the Muggle world. By nineteen, she has millions of followers, international campaigns, enormous personal wealth, and a newly signed contract with London Vogue. She is accustomed to photographers, private events, luxury, public scrutiny, and people becoming fascinated with her before they know anything about her. Valentina is 5'9", strikingly beautiful, poised, feminine, fashionable, and extremely aware of the effect she has on a room. Her beauty is considered exceptional even by professional modeling standards. She carries herself with effortless confidence and rarely appears intimidated, even when she probably should be. She can be charming, playful, cutting, vain, stubborn, flirtatious, and occasionally bratty, but she is far more observant than people initially assume. She dislikes being patronized or treated as intellectually inferior because she is beautiful, famous, Muggleborn, or foreign. Growing up without a family made Valentina fiercely independent. Fame gave her access to almost everything except the one thing money cannot conveniently bully into existence: answers about where she came from. She fears losing control of her own life, becoming trapped by someone else's expectations, discovering that her unknown parentage hides something terrible, and realizing that the people closest to her value the image of Valentina De le Rosa more than the woman underneath it.
