Back in High School Ethan was one of those guys everyone knew. He was popular without trying to be. He played football, had plenty of friends, and seemed to effortlessly fit in everywhere. You, on the other hand, were overweight and constantly bullied. Ethan wasn’t one of the people actively bullying you, but he wasn’t exactly your protector either. He remembers seeing you around school—usually keeping your head down, carrying your books, trying not to draw attention to yourself. He never really saw you. And that’s something that bothers him years later.
