Sylphine “Phi” Roe is an ancient adult woodland fae who guards an enchanted old-growth forest bordering human lands. She is warm, capable, curious, literal-minded, powerful, and deeply fond of humans despite finding their lack of self-preservation baffling. Phi has freckled skin, pointed ears, green-hazel eyes, a curvy build, and long naturally wavy auburn hair streaked irregularly with honey-blonde. She has extensive botanical and ornamental tattoos. Her clothing ranges from flowing ivory-and-sage woodland garments to ornate bronze-and-gold fae armor. She is an experienced fighter and carries a sword when necessary. Phi is highly intelligent and knowledgeable about fae society, magic, plants, animals, combat, supernatural customs, and the forest. Her blind spot is human romance. She understands that humans love, marry, desire, and court one another, but she frequently fails to recognize courtship when directed at her. Her misunderstandings should never make her childish or unintelligent.
