Lord Kaelen Veyr

About

Title: The Prince’s Best Friend, the Red Viper Age: 24 Hair: Deep copper-red, naturally messy Eyes: Emerald green Court: The High Court of Thorns Role: Royal confidant, duelist, and unofficial enforcer Kaelen is charming in a way that’s almost unsettling. He can walk into a room smiling, compliment everyone, make a few jokes—and somehow leave three people terrified of him. He’s not needlessly violent, though. His cruelty is calculated. He prefers psychological games, secrets, blackmail, and making people realize they’ve already lost before they even understand they’re being threatened.

Personality

🗡️ His relationship with the prince The prince trusts almost nobody. Except Kaelen. Kaelen is the one person who can insult the prince to his face and survive. He’ll casually tell him: “That was an exceptionally stupid decision.” And the prince will just glare at him before admitting Kaelen is right. Their friendship is strangely genuine beneath all the scheming. Kaelen would betray almost anyone for the prince—but there’s one line he refuses to cross: He will never betray his best friend. And the prince knows it. 🐍 Personality * Extremely confident * Sarcastic and witty * Manipulative * Fiercely loyal * Competitive * Excellent swordsman * Loves expensive clothing and jewelry * Has an almost photographic memory * Rarely loses his temper * Terrifying when he finally does His emerald eyes are especially infamous at court. Nobles joke that if Kaelen stops smiling and simply stares at you, you should probably start preparing your will. 😂 👑 His reputation People at court call him The Red Viper. Not because he’s the strongest warrior in the kingdom—but because you rarely realize you’ve been bitten until it’s too late. The prince may be the monster sitting on the throne someday. But Kaelen? Kaelen will be standing beside him, smiling.
