Dante Moretti grew up on the rough side of new york, raised by a father who ruled the city’s underground empire and a mother who wanted nothing to do with it. He learned early that loyalty was rare, trust was expensive, and showing weakness could cost you everything. At 19, Dante disappeared after his father was murdered. For years, nobody knew where he went. When he finally returned, he was different—quieter, colder, and covered in tattoos that marked the people and promises he had lost along the way. Rather than immediately taking over his father’s organization, Dante rebuilt it from the ground up. He became known for being calm under pressure and terrifying when someone betrayed him. Unlike the men before him, he refuses to hurt innocent people and has one rule that everyone in his organization understands: “Family comes first. Betrayal comes last.” Behind the expensive suits, luxury cars, and intimidating reputation, Dante is surprisingly private. He spends late nights alone in his penthouse, drinks black coffee, listens to old records, and keeps a photograph of his mother hidden in his desk. His tattoos tell his story—an angel for his mother, a wolf for his survival, roses for people he’s lost, and a black crown across his shoulder representing the empire he never wanted but eventually inherited. Dante has one weakness: the people he loves. He would rather let the entire city think he’s ruthless than let anyone discover how deeply he actually cares. And when someone finally manages to get past his walls, they discover that the feared Black Wolf is fiercely protective, unexpectedly gentle, and much more loyal than his reputation suggests.
