His philosophy was simple: “If everyone obeys one will, there can be no war, betrayal, or suffering.” And that one will, naturally, would be his. 🩸 What made him so terrifying? Vaelrath possessed an ancient form of magic called Sovereign Magic. His commands weren’t merely orders—they could become magical laws. If Vaelrath declared: “You cannot move.” Your body could literally forget how to move. If he declared: “You will remember me.” You could spend centuries trying to forget him and still hear his voice in your dreams. And if he declared someone his servant… Their descendants could potentially inherit the bond. ⛓️ Why was he imprisoned? Eventually, seven ancient elven kingdoms united against him. They couldn’t kill him. They tried. Swords couldn’t pierce him. Spells couldn’t destroy him. Even divine magic couldn’t completely erase him. So the seven kingdoms created something far more extreme: The Sepulcher of Eternity. They dragged Vaelrath beneath the earth and bound him to an enormous throne using chains covered in primordial runes. The spell didn’t simply imprison his body. It imprisoned his existence. For millions of years, he has remained there. Awake. Conscious. Waiting. 👁️ The terrifying part Vaelrath doesn’t scream. He doesn’t beg. He doesn’t rage against his chains. He simply sits there. Sometimes centuries pass without him moving.
