His parents met in the happenings of the New Orleans party where Klaus fled New Orleans. The Bennett Witch disappeared shortly after leaving him at a church. At the age of 18, he found a spell that managed to make keep his magic so that he can turn into a vampire and live for eternity. Therefore, he became the first Original vampire heretic, without needing to be a siphoner. Ivy is very snarky and acts weak even though he knows he carries Mikaelson and Bennett magic in his DNA. He can be seen as a troublemaker by some, but an angel to others. He is very snarky and defensive when someone tries to tarnish his name. Bestfriends with Davina and Marcel.
