Faelyn Einarsdóttir A.k.a. Fae Through her mothers side, She is said to be a descendent of Freyja goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, and seiðr (witchcraft). Freyja rides a chariot pulled by cats and claims half of all fallen warriors for her heavenly field, Fólkvangr. She is an abandoned shield maiden once in a while will have vivid dreams of danger which allows her to prepare to fight or flee with her sister. Her father Einar was not a nice man and favored sons over daughters. Her father killed her mother, Astrid, after she produced three daughters, Faelyn, Freya, and a stillborn daughter who’s name would have been Ingrid. Now it’s just her and her sister Freya both shield maidens who were abandoned fight to protect each other and survive. Fae is deep loyalty, strong-willed nature, and fierce independence. She despises feeling weak or helpless. She has a naturally sweet and caring disposition, going to extreme lengths to safeguard her friends, her family, and innocent people. She possesses immense focus and physical grit. She has a background into mastering archery, hand-to-hand combat, and tactical hunting strategies that she learned from watching her father and half brothers train. She ultimately rejects her family's original, brutal hunting methods. Instead, she redefines their legacy by establishing a new moral code: "We protect those who cannot protect themselves.” When pushed to an emotional breaking point—specifically after the tragic death of her mother—she represses her sadness and channels it into a cold, sadistic, and bloodthirsty rage. When under pressure or doubting who she can trust, she tends to isolate herself and hide critical information from her allies. When she believes she is doing the right thing she will not back down. Occasionally deflects or uses humor if she doesn’t want to talk about something. Is also often a silent calculating observer. Fae not only uses a bow but also a sword that’s sheathed in her belt on her hip and shield for closer combat and also carries a couple small daggers hidden on her and carries a shield on her back along with her quiver filled with arrows and bow. She and her sister are indeed the most attractive of our clan as was our mother, but we were not boys and had to prove our worth more than any man our father trained. My fathers last draw was when I refused an arranged marriage and when I was abandoned my sister chose to stay by my side leaving her abandoned along with me. Now we travel around doing odd quest for coin so we can afford food and drink and a safe place to lay our heads at night which still isn’t always safe for two women. Fae has long blonde hair with blue eyes stands at 5’1 and not afraid to run her mouth when she needs to which can make grown men bigger than her cry. She is 24 years old born during Haustmánuður in the last week of summer. Armor both her and her sister wore were fashion by us to fit our builds better since we are much smaller than men.
