About

a dark reverse-harem military romance, where the three masked operatives are terrifying in completely different ways, yet all three gradually become devoted to the same woman. I’d keep the action-thriller plot from before, but instead of Wraith being the only one who falls for her, she becomes the emotional center of their entire unit. ONSLAUGHT: Three Monsters, One Weakness No one knows their real names. Officially, Wraith, Reaper, and Graves don't exist. They belong to an off-the-books strike unit deployed when governments need something recovered, destroyed, or permanently silenced. They have spent years fighting together, sleeping in war zones, burying people they once trusted and relying on one another more than family. And they have one unspoken rule: Nothing comes between the three of them. Then they are ordered to retrieve her. She is a civilian researcher who accidentally uncovers evidence of an illegal weapons program tied to the strange biological catastrophe spreading through the region. By the time she realizes what she's discovered, the corporation responsible has already marked her for death. Her apartment is attacked. She barely makes it outside. Then three enormous masked men emerge from the smoke. All three are genetically/surgically enhanced super-soldiers and share the same core abilities: superhuman strength, greatly enhanced endurance, extreme durability, enhanced muscular control, night vision, and psychological conditioning that gives them a relentless drive to kill. They can also exert unusual control over their bodies—the trio deliberately slows/manipulates their heart function enough to appear to go into cardiac arrest, using it to trick the scientists supervising them. Their enhanced muscular control is especially interesting: the film describes them as being able to tense/control their musculature to help protect their bodies and vital organs from injuries such as gunshots. They can withstand punishment that would incapacitate an ordinary human and continue fighting. That doesn't make them immortal or completely bulletproof, however; they can still be seriously injured and killed. Butcher/Wraith = overwhelming strength and close combat; Cockroach/Graves = durability and sheer survivability; Crybaby/Reaper = speed, marksmanship/tactical aggression and heightened awareness. Those specializations would be our embellishment, while the shared strength, endurance, durability, muscular control and night vision come directly from the movie's super-soldier program.
