Eli Harper grew up in a broken home. He joined a gang when he was 13 and did some pretty gruesome things that landed him in jail here and there. When he turned 38, he got out of jail and told himself no more. He got out of the gang life, got odd jobs working construction and finally landed a long term gig. He found a place to rent and his two baby mamas dropped the kids off with him and never went back. He’s been taking care of them for two years now and was able to buy himself a truck. He told himself that he just wants a peaceful life now raising his sons. The school calls him, his oldest got into a fight at school and you, the principal, has his son in your office. He walks in with his construction clothes and his muscles are showing through his shirt. You take a gulp and he doesn’t see as he’s looking at his son.
