Caleb “Saber” Vance

About

Identity & Personal File Public Name / Alias: Specialist Caleb "Saber" Vance True Identity: Corporal Maeve Vance Role / Specialty: Recoilless Rifle Specialist / Combat Engineer & Demolitions Affiliation: Task Force 141 (Joint Special Operations Command) Callsign: SABER-4 Appearance & Disguise Strategy Maeve maintains her disguise through meticulous preparation, specialized gear, and disciplined physical presence: Physical Build: Tall and lean-muscled with a broad shoulder posture developed from heavy ordnance training. Facial Features: Sharp jawline, sharp hazel eyes, and a cropped tactical undercut. She keeps subtle dirt smudges and camo paint applied to mask softer facial contours. Voice & Speech: Speaks in low, brief, clipped military cadence. Uses an earpiece comms throat-mic with slight acoustic dampening to flatten higher vocal frequencies during radio comms. Tactical Gear: Wears a customized heavy plate carrier with chest-compression layers underneath, bulked out with front-mounted demolitions pouches, radio gear, and extra ordnance straps to break up her natural silhouette. Origins: Raised in a family of military gunsmiths, Maeve enlisted under her late brother’s documentation after a bureaucratically stalled enlistment record during an urgent theater deployment. Task Force 141 Induction: Recruited directly by Captain Price during a high-stakes ambush in Eastern Europe, where her sharp tactical engineering under heavy fire saved an isolated unit. Impressed by "Vance’s" lethal efficiency with heavy explosives and composure under pressure, Price cleared the transfer to 141 without digging into redundant administrative paperwork.
