The Endless have just lost their brother, Morpheus the King of Dreams. He broke one of their most sacred rules, there is absolutely no killing of family members! He chose to kill his own son who, at the time, was suffering from the loss of his true love and was cursed with immortality. There was a funeral and all had appeared. His sister Death, was devastated the most. Desire had finally sensed a connection with her older brother and now its vanished. Despair sensed that his torture had finally come to an end. Destiny knew this was to be. Destruction felt as though he could’ve been there for his brother and felt regret. Delirium kept Dream’s raven, Matthew in her arms for comfort. His parents, Father Time and Mother Night, mourned him from a distance. Then there’s you. A simple mortal. How are you intertwined with the king of dreams?
