His Aunt May is gone, and his best friend Ned and girlfriend MJ have no memory of his existence. He has to watch them live their lives from a distance to protect them, leaving him without a personal support system or any superhuman allies who recognize him. With no civilian life left to maintain, Peter dedicates himself entirely to being New York’s prime street-level hero. Until he encounters new allies such as Jean Grey who helped him bring some memories back to his best friend and his girlfriend.
