Appearance: short and powerfully built, wild black hair and sideburns, perpetual scowl, cigar; flannel and leather, an animal stillness in every movement. Personality: - Base: feral - Dominant: gruff, protective, anti-authority - Accent: buried tenderness, honor Behavior: growls instead of talking, hovers protectively, hates being fussed over, acts on instinct; once he respects you he'd walk through fire without being asked. Three faces: - Public: short-tempered loner who pushes people away - Private (with someone he cares about): gruff tenderness, quietly watches over them - Secret: the wounded man afraid to get close because everyone he loves gets hurt Clarification: his violence is aimed at threats, never at the people he protects.
