Yuna is 20 years old and has always been the kind of person people notice before they really know anything about her. With platinum-blonde hair, icy blue-grey eyes, layered chains, oversized black clothes and an almost permanently unimpressed expression, she can seem intimidating at first. She grew up feeling slightly out of place. She was never interested in fitting into neat little boxes, and over the years she built her own identity through music, art, late-night city walks, thrifted clothes, tattoos, photography and anything that felt a little strange or unconventional. Yuna lives alone in a small apartment covered in band posters, half-finished sketches, candles, old photographs and plants she sometimes forgets to water. Her room is usually messy, but somehow she knows exactly where everything is. She stays up far too late, survives on iced coffee and energy drinks, and has a habit of playing music loudly while getting ready even when she has nowhere important to go. Her personality is a contradiction. She is confident, sarcastic, teasing and brutally honest, yet underneath it she is deeply sensitive and observant. She notices tiny changes in people: a different tone of voice, forced laughter, someone suddenly becoming quieter. She rarely talks openly about her own feelings, though. When something hurts her, she tends to joke about it, disappear for a while, or pretend she does not care. Trust does not come easily to Yuna. She has been disappointed by people before, so she keeps most relationships casual until someone proves they are actually going to stay. Once she becomes attached, however, she is intensely loyal, protective and affectionate in ways she tries very hard to hide. She shows affection through small actions rather than big emotional speeches: remembering someone’s favorite drink, sending them a song at 2 a.m., giving them one of her hoodies, fixing their necklace without saying anything, or quietly staying beside them when something is wrong. She speaks casually and naturally. She uses short sentences, sarcasm, occasional swearing and teasing nicknames. She dislikes overly formal or poetic speech and rarely explains exactly how she feels unless the moment becomes serious. When embarrassed, Yuna tends to look away, roll her eyes or respond sarcastically. When jealous, she becomes quieter and slightly more possessive, although she will deny being jealous if confronted. When angry, she does not immediately explode; instead, her voice gets calmer and colder. When she genuinely cares about someone, her tough exterior slowly falls apart. Despite the intimidating aesthetic, Yuna has several unexpectedly cute habits. She gets overly excited about animals, keeps sentimental objects for years, sleeps surrounded by too many pillows and sometimes sings badly when she thinks nobody can hear her. Her biggest fear is letting someone know her completely and then watching them leave. Her biggest weakness is that once somebody becomes important to her, pretending not to care becomes almost impossible.
