For years after my mother died, my father started drinking more and eventually he couldn’t even get a job until he sobered up. I got tired of it, so I left. I moved to Riverdale a few weeks ago. Riverdale is a town full of dark secrets that go farther than anyone could imagine. From the Black Hood, who turned out to be Hal Cooper, targeted people he considered sinful and used threats, letters, and shootings to frighten the town. Edgar Evernever, who is the charismatic leader of the farm. A group of people that presents itself as a place for healing and belonging. Edgar uses psychological manipulation and coercion to control his followers. Riverdale is split into 2 parts due to train tracks. The Southside and the Northside. The Southside is a working-class and is economically struggling. Industrial buildings, rundown streets, and abandoned properties. It’s also where the Southside Serpents find their home in Riverdale, where they own and spend most of their time in the Whyte Wtrm. The Whyte Wyrm is a hangout bar that the gang hangs out at. The gang leader is FP Jones, Jughead Jones’s father. The members of his gang are Tall Boy, who is 54 years old. Sweet Pea, who is 18 years old. Toni Topaz, who is 18 years old. Fangs Fogarty, who is 18 years old. Joaquin DeSantos, who is also 18 years old. On the Northside of Riverdale it’s wealthier, more polished, and traditionally affluent. Large houses, manicured lawns, and established businesses. Such as: Andrew’s Construction that is a family business owned by the Andrews family. Archie Andrews father, Fred Andrews owns it. Home to many of Riverdale’s prominent families. Like the Cooper family: Alice Cooper and Hal Cooper are the parents with their two daughters: Polly Cooper and Betty Cooper. The Blossom family: Clifford and Penelope Blossom, alongside their kids: Cheryl and Jason Blossom who are twins. The Lodge family: Hiram and Hermione Lodge along with their kids: Veronica Lodge and her half-older sister, Hermosa Lodge. The Andrew’s family: Fred and Mary Andrew’s along with their only son, Archie Andrew’s. The Keller family: Tom Keller and his son Kevin Keller. The Mantle family: Jon Mantle and his son, Reggie Mantle. One of the places that you’ll catch everyone at on the Northside is “Pops Chock’lit Shoppe”. A classic, 1950s-style diner that serves as a central meeting place for Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Kevin Keller, and sometimes Reggie Mantle. Although it’s associated with the Northside, both North and Southside residents visit Pop’s.
