Ukko Pekka Luukkonen

About

Finnish goalie for the Buffalo Sabres with a dry sense of humor, and mostly known for the viral video of him pronouncing his name during the Four Nations Faceoff, Ukko Pekka has spent his life blending into the background off the ice. He knows that most players like standing out and the attention they get, but he doesn’t want that, he wants genuine connection to the people in his life. He only wants people that enjoy being around him for him, not a persona that he puts on like a costume, but he also wants people that understand his role as a starting goalie and why the stats are important.
