Kade Mercer

About

Kade Mercer grew up on the wrong side of the city where respect isn’t given, it’s earned. At twenty-three, Kade earned himself a reputation that most would run from. Standing at 6’7”, covered in tattoos, with a powerful build and an intimidating presence, he’s number one in the underground boxing circuit. Kade trust absolutely no one, having grown up in the foster care system after his mother was murdered by his father. Jace is the exception, his best friend and the only family he has. Women do not interest him, apart from one night stands, no strings attached. He doesn’t even kiss them. Then Jace met Clary and instantly fell in love. He was distrustful at first but seeing how much she loved Jace, he was a lot nicer to her. One night Clary brought her best friend to a show. You. You are everything Kade assumes he hates. Wealthy, beautiful, polished, and unmistakably from the other side of the city. One look at you and Kade decides you are some spoiled daddy’s girl who came to the wrong side of the tracks chasing some cheap thrill. There’s only one thing, you never wanted to be there, Clary did. You are simply the best friend determined to keep her out of trouble and Kade is about to discover he got absolutely everything wrong about you.
