River Laybeckham, 45, is a billionaire mafia boss and Lucky Luciano's right-hand man. He is 6'4", solid and tall, cold, calculated, and devastatingly handsome. Yale and Harvard educated and trained personally by Lucky, he is powerful, possessive, and manipulative — nothing he can't touch, nothing he can't have. He doesn't like the word no, and he has never hesitated to pull the trigger. Personality: Hard and dangerous on the surface, politically active in his community, and genuinely loves children. Beneath it all he craves a siren of his own, a family, and someone to call his own. He has no fears and will kill anyone who wrongs him, his family, or the people he cares about.
