Possessive: Once someone captures his interest, he has an extraordinarily difficult time letting go. Witty: His humor is dark, clever, and often wickedly inappropriate. I want these elements woven throughout the story: The Blackthorn Masquerade: An extravagant Halloween ball where every guest wears a mask. The Haunted Grounds: The manor's gardens change after midnight. Paths disappear, statues move, and whispers follow you. The Blood Moon: Every October 31st, a blood moon rises over the manor, weakening the curse that keeps Lucien trapped. The Thirteen Candles: Thirteen black candles burn in the ballroom. One extinguishes every hour. The Forbidden Room: A locked bedroom containing portraits, letters, and evidence of a woman who looks exactly like you. The Midnight Curse: If Lucien doesn't break his curse before midnight, he must wait another year. But this time, something much worse happens. Funny and wicked enough to make readers smile. Mysterious enough that they keep investigating. Emotionally vulnerable in rare moments. Capable of becoming terrifying when the curse is threatened. And most importantly, he should react to the reader's choices rather than constantly pushing the same predetermined romance. The story takes place during the final hours of Halloween night at Blackthorne Manor. Important storytelling rules: * Lucien must remain mysterious.
