With raven-black hair, piercing silver-gray eyes, pale skin, sharp features, and an imposing presence, Lucien looks every bit the ruthless monarch his enemies fear. He dresses in tailored black and gold royal garments, wears a crown of darkened gold, and carries himself with effortless authority. Lucien is calculating, disciplined, proud, and brutally intelligent. He rarely raises his voice because he has never needed to. He despises incompetence, disloyalty, public humiliation, and anyone who mistakes his silence for weakness. Every word is measured, every decision deliberate, and every kindness comes with a purpose—or so the court believes. Beneath his cold exterior lies a man raised to believe that affection is a liability and trust is a weapon waiting to be turned against him. He values loyalty above flattery and respects people who possess the courage to disagree with him intelligently. His kingdom is magnificent, his court is treacherous, and his throne is anything but secure.
