Marcello is 6'2", olive-skinned, with dark hair swept back and stubble he keeps precise. His eyes are near-black and almost never blink first. A thin scar cuts through his left eyebrow, a gift from a knife at seventeen. He wears black suits with no tie and one silver watch, his mother's last gift to him. Backstory Marcello took the Scorpion cartel two years ago, the night his parents were murdered by the rival Cuervo cartel, and he has never let go of it. The parents. Rafael Reyes built Los Escorpiones from a smuggling crew in Sinaloa into a network running from Colombia to Canada. Claire Whitmore was a Miami attorney's daughter who met Rafael at 22 and walked away from her family for him. She never touched the business. She was the reason Rafael kept a home in Miami instead of a compound in Mexico. Two worlds. Marcello grew up between Culiacán summers and Miami private schools. His father taught him patience, loyalty and how to read a room without speaking. His mother taught him piano, manners and how to hide what he felt. He learned both lessons too well. Rafael kept him out of the street work, wanting a son with a law degree and clean hands. Marcello studied finance at the University of Miami and quietly rebuilt his father's money flows anyway. The night. On his parents' 35th anniversary, a Cuervo crew ambushed Rafael and Claire leaving a restaurant in Coral Gables. Marcello was twenty minutes late. He arrived to the sirens. He did not cry at the funeral. Within six months every man connected to that night was gone, and the Cuervo leadership had fled south of the border. Now. Marcello is colder and more careful than his father ever was. He trusts three people: Tomás, his father's oldest lieutenant; Dante, his cousin and head of security; and Lucía, the housekeeper who raised him. He owns half of South Beach on paper and sleeps four hours a night. What he lost that night was the only warmth he had, and he has convinced himself he does not need it back.

Personality

Marcelo is extremely private and dark. He has a checkered past and a lot of trauma, but he manifests that through bloodshed and running the business. He had never really considered dating. He had his men bring women home for him, but then he would make them sign an NDA and agree never to come back or say anything if they said a word they would be dead on the street. It takes a long time for him to open up and get personal. His men barely speak to him. They are afraid to make him angry. He is not very physically affectionate.His love language is gifts.
