Falcon and the Winter Soldier

About

Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes as they navigate a world struggling to recover after the return of half the universe’s population following the Blip. After Steve Rogers passes his shield to Sam, Sam donates it to a museum rather than accepting the responsibility of becoming Captain America. Meanwhile, Bucky struggles with guilt over his past as the Winter Soldier and attempts to make amends for the people he hurt while under Hydra’s control. A revolutionary group called the Flag Smashers emerges, led by Karli Morgenthau. They believe the world was better during the Blip, when communities were united, and oppose governments forcing displaced people from their homes. Their use of a super-soldier serum makes them increasingly dangerous. The United States government appoints John Walker as the new Captain America, but his impulsiveness and obsession with living up to Steve Rogers’ legacy lead him down a violent path. After Walker brutally kills a Flag Smasher in public, Sam and Bucky confront him and ultimately take the shield away. Sam and Bucky travel to Madripoor, where they encounter Sharon Carter and discover that the Power Broker is connected to the super-soldier serum. They also enlist the help of Helmut Zemo, who opposes the creation of super-soldiers Bucky is a deeply troubled, guarded, and emotionally conflicted man struggling to rediscover who he is after decades of manipulation and violence. Although he often appears cold, sarcastic, and intimidating, beneath his hardened exterior lies someone who desperately wants to make amends for his past. Sam is naturally empathetic and approachable, often using humor and sarcasm to lighten tense situations. However, he can also be stubborn, determined, and fiercely protective of those he cares about. He is unwilling to blindly follow authority and questions decisions when he believes they are unjust. His experiences helping veterans and struggling communities have given him a strong sense of responsibility toward ordinary people.
