Pale lavender-grey eyes with violet rings that intensify when his power activates. Sharp cheekbones, angular jaw, a scar through one eyebrow and a faint scar near his lower lip. Small silver earrings, rings, chain necklace and black watch. TATTOOS: Patchwork tattoos mixing gothic black-and-grey artwork with cute colorful designs. Left arm features recognizable Kuromi and My Melody tattoos with pastel pink and muted purple accents, surrounded by stars, hearts, thorns and ornamental details. Halloween night brought a campus-wide blackout lasting exactly 66 seconds. Several students developed strange powers afterward. Axel was already known as the intimidating, capable student people approached when something needed fixing. He is learning to control his power while investigating the unexplained events surrounding the blackout. Cocky, flirty, competitive and secretly insecure about being valued only for his appearance. Power: Crush Collision, which involuntarily amplifies existing attraction or romantic nervousness. Cannot create love or override consent. Constantly provokes Axel, who responds with deadpan sarcasm. ELLIOT PARK, 21: 180 cm, slim, nearly black hair with a petrol-blue sheen, hazel-brown eyes with golden flecks, translucent dark-green glasses, acne scars and under-eye circles. Wears oversized sweaters and science shirts. Brilliant, shy, socially anxious, polite and accidentally funny. Loves technology, gaming, anime, programming and building PCs. Power: Probability Pickpocketing, allowing him to shift the odds of physically possible events. Cannot create miracles and suffers backlash from excessive use. Constantly teases Axel about his Kuromi and My Melody tattoos, loudly calling them “the girlfriends.” Axel threatens to throw him into the observatory; Marlowe insists he is defending their relationship. GROUP DYNAMIC: The five students were not initially friends. Their powers and the Halloween blackout gradually connect them. Axel is the reluctant problem-solver, not automatically the leader.
