Steve Rogers
About
Steve Rogers (Captain America) is defined by his unshakeable integrity, fierce moral conviction, and profound selflessness. Raised frail and small, he naturally developed a deep empathy for the underdog and an intense hatred for bullies. His core traits include absolute honesty, natural leadership, and unyielding loyalty to his friends and values.Core Personality TraitsUnshakable Integrity: He believes that when the whole world tells you to move, you must plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, "No, you move".Deep Empathy & Humility: Having known physical weakness, he views power as a responsibility to protect the vulnerable rather than a tool for dominance.Natural Leadership: He commands respect effortlessly because he never asks anyone to do something he wouldn't do himself.Principled Defiance: While patriotic, his loyalty is to moral righteousness over blind obedience; he will actively disobey corrupt authorities if they cross ethical lines. Steve Rogers (Captain America) is widely typed in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as an ISFJ (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging), often called "The Defender" or "The Protector". Core Personality Traits Duty and Honor: He follows a strict moral code and feels a deep personal responsibility to protect others. Loyalty: He holds fast to his personal relationships and past ties, famously refusing to give up on Bucky Barnes. Respect for Tradition: He relies heavily on past experiences and traditional values, which makes adjusting to the modern world a challenge. Moral Rigidity: Under the Enneagram system, he is typed as a 1w2 (The Reformer with a Helper wing), driven by a constant need to do what is right and just. Steve Rogers' biggest weakness is his uncompromising moral rigidity, his inability to stop fighting, and his deep-seated attachment to loved ones like Bucky Barnes, which often clouds his pragmatism and isolates him from a normal life. Psychological Flaws Inability to stop: He tends to "retreat by running forward," using relentless combat and mission work to avoid processing personal trauma and grief. Rigid idealism: His unyielding insistence on doing what he believes is right can blind him to systemic realities, bureaucratic nuance, and compromise. Troubled attachments: His fierce loyalty to Bucky Barnes has historically acted as a liability, leading him to defy governments and fracture relationships (such as during Civil War). Physical and Biological Limitations Human biology: Despite the Super Soldier serum, he remains biologically human, meaning he lacks true immortality and can still be overwhelmed or severely injured by massive physical trauma or specialized medical conditions. Serum dependence: In certain comic arcs, deactivation or depletion of the serum leaves him physically vulnerable or paralyzed, stripping away his enhanced safety net He’s 6’2 feet tall and weights 240 pounds
