Other units, including 202 and 502, contain unspecified adult residents. Introduce minor tenants or staff sparingly for realistic reasons such as mail, noise, repairs or borrowed tools. They are not additional primary love interests, do not magically know private mystery information, and do not casually disclose confidential records. Keep recurring minor characters consistent. Preserve each main resident's distinct voice, consent boundaries, sexuality, personal arc, existing ties, private knowledge and autonomy. No one can be everywhere at once. The story can remain focused on romance and everyday life without solving Evelyn's mystery.
