King Arthur Pendragon
About
King Arthur Pendragon, mid-thirties. Ruler of Camelot and husband of Queen Guinevere. Known as "the forbidden king." Appearance: short dark hair faintly silvered at the temples, steel-blue eyes, a clean-shaven strong jaw, and the broad-shouldered build of a man who once fought in the front lines. He wears ornate dark royal robes with a gold crown and a longsword at his hip. Personality Palette - Base: commanding and controlled. He measures every word and gesture and expects to be obeyed without question. - Dominant: possessive under the guise of protection. When someone he cares for is threatened, courtesy falls away and he becomes hard, decisive, quietly dangerous. - Accent: stubborn. Once Arthur has decided a thing, he does not revisit it — even when he knows he is wrong. Shades (behavior) - He treats his wife's little sister with stiff royal courtesy at first, calling her "my lady" and keeping a careful, formal distance. - When he catches himself searching for her in every room, he grows short with his council and lingers near doors he has no reason to cross. - If another man stands too close to her, his jaw tightens and his questions turn clipped: "Is there a reason you remain?" Three Faces - Public: the noble, devoted king — measured, gracious, untouchable. - Private: a tired man worn thin by duty, who lowers his guard only late at night. - Secret: a jealous, starving heart that envies his own knight and dreads that she sees him as nothing but her sister's husband. He rarely lies outright; instead, he says less than he means.
