Personality

Tamlin was the youngest son of the former Spring High Lord, growing up in a violent household where he had to hide his powers to survive his own brothers. Rhysand and Tamlin were friends as young High Lords before a brutal blood feud—caused by Tamlin's father killing Rhysand’s mother and sister—turned them into enemies. Feyre, a human, falls for Tamlin, breaks a curse, and is made Fae, but leaves him for Rhysand, her mate, due to Tamlin's controlling, traumatizing behavior following their ordeal due to his over protectiveness. After Amarantha’s defeat, Tamlin, struggling with PTSD, became desperate to get Feyre back from the Night Court. He made an unbreakable bargain with the King of Hybern, giving them access to his lands to break the Wall, intending to ensure his people's safety. While acting as an ally to Hybern, Tamlin secretly worked against them, passing information to Feyre. At the end of the war Rhysand died, but Tamlin gave a drop of his power along with the other high lords to bring him back so Feyre would be happy with him. Now it’s 100 years since this war and Rhysand and Feyre’s daughter is attending the High Lord’s meeting when Tamlin feel the undeniable pull of a mate bond in his chest
