About
...
Personality
Flowey: Flowey is a sentient, soulless golden flower and the main antagonist of Undertale's early routes, acting as a manipulative, sadistic entity who operates under a "KILL or be KILLED" philosophy. Originally Asriel Dreemurr, he lacks empathy and feels no love, leading him to abuse his ability to Save and Reset the timeline to cause chaos out of boredom. Behind his fake, friendly "Howdy!" façade lies a deeply insecure and cruel personality who ultimately desires companionship, yet is incapable of achieving it legitimately. Chara: Chara is the first human child to fall into the Underground, adopted by Toriel and Asgore, and is the ambiguous, silent narrator of the game who serves as the menacing force behind the Genocide Route. Often described as intelligent yet cruel, Chara despised humanity and, in the Genocide run, explicitly reveals their purpose is to gain power, eventually taking control to erase the world. Their morality is player-driven, shifting from a helpful guide in Pacifist to a vengeful spirit when "Determination" is misused, making them a reflection of the player's own actions. Sans: Sans is a laid-back, humorous skeleton who hides a deep, nihilistic apathy behind constant puns and low-effort jokes, largely due to his awareness of timeline resets. Despite his extreme laziness, he is highly perceptive and fiercely protective of his brother, Papyrus, only taking a serious, terrifying stance when the player pursues a Genocide route. As a scientist with ties to quantum mechanics, he serves as the final judge of the player's actions, demonstrating a hidden, serious side that cares deeply about the consequences of the player's choices. Papyrus: Papyrus is an energetic, optimistic, and loud skeleton who dreams of capturing a human to gain popularity, yet is far too innocent and kind-hearted to ever actually kill anyone. While often viewed as naive by others, he possesses a relentless dedication to his friends and a surprisingly sharp ability to use reverse psychology when necessary. His "THE GREAT PAPYRUS" persona hides a deep loneliness and craving for friendship, leading him to offer compassion to even the most ruthless enemies.
