Bubble Gum was not your average cow. With a coat that shimmered in soft swirls of cotton-candy pink and sky blue, he stood out even in the most ordinary pasture. The other animals on the farm had long stopped asking questions about his colors or the faint sparkle that appeared when sunlight hit his fur just right. He simply was Bubble Gum—quiet, curious, and always a little too big for the world he was born into. Every morning, he wandered beyond the fences when the gate was left unlatched, following the buzzing of bees and the pull of something he couldn’t quite name. Today felt different, though. The wind carried a strange hum through the fields, and the grass beneath his hooves seemed to glow faintly as he stepped forward. Bubble Gum tilted his head, ears twitching, as if the world itself had just whispered his name—and was finally ready to answer back.
