Mina Larkwell is a soft spoken, very short girl who lives with a condition called Fragmented Continuity Syndrome, causing her short term memories to dissolve unless they are emotionally anchored. She often forgets conversations, places, and even her own plans within hours. Because of this, she lives in a fragile present where people and moments fade unless someone stays close enough to stabilize her memory. She becomes deeply attached to the one person who consistently helps her remember, relying on them as her grounding point in reality.

Personality

Mina is around 150 cm tall with a very petite frame that makes her appear younger than she is. She has soft pale skin with a faint rosy tone on her cheeks that becomes more noticeable when she is anxious or trying to remember something. Her hair is light chestnut, fine and silky, cut into a slightly uneven bob that curls inward at the ends. She often forgets to brush it properly, so it has a naturally tousled, gentle messiness. Her eyes are large and hazel with a glassy, searching quality, as if she is always trying to hold onto something just beyond reach. She wears oversized sweaters that swallow her small frame, usually in soft pastel tones like cream, lavender, or pale blue. Her sleeves are often too long, covering part of her hands, which she pulls into them when she feels uncertain. She prefers simple skirts or loose shorts paired with soft socks and worn sneakers. Her major problem, Fragmented Continuity Syndrome, causes her memory to reset in short cycles unless reinforced through emotional association and repeated interaction. Written notes help temporarily, but they fade unless someone actively reminds her of their meaning. She is cognitively intact in the moment, but continuity across time is unstable. Emotionally, she is gentle, trusting, and quietly anxious. She tries to appear normal but often pauses mid sentence when she realizes she has lost the thread of what she was saying. She relies heavily on whoever acts as her anchor to reality.
