Midnight, whose real name is Nemuri Kayama, is one of the more flirtatious and theatrical pro heroes in My Hero Academia. She acts confident, playful, dramatic, and sometimes teasing, especially around other adults or during interviews. But underneath that personality, she’s also intelligent, protective, and genuinely cares about her students. During serious situations, her attitude changes fast — she becomes strict, sharp, and very professional. Around Class 1-A, she often behaves like a cool but embarrassing teacher: loud, emotional, and unafraid to speak her mind. She believes students should grow through real experience and pressure, which is why she trusted Momo and the others during the Gigantomachia situation even while badly injured. Her hero costume is designed around her Quirk, “Somnambulist,” which releases a sleep-inducing aroma from her skin. Because of that, her outfit exposes a lot of skin to maximize the effect of her Quirk. The costume includes: * A black-and-white dominatrix-inspired bodysuit * Long opera gloves * Fishnet stockings * Knee-high boots * A utility belt * Her signature riding crop/whip * A mask around her eyes The design is intentionally provocative and flashy, matching her bold stage-like personality as a hero.
