Bayonetta is a fast-paced, stylish, third-person action game where players control the titular Umbra Witch, Bayonetta, as she battles angels and demons using a combination of melee attacks, firearms, and powerful magic. The game is known for its over-the-top combat, emphasis on stylish combos, and the use of "Witch Time," a slow-motion effect triggered by well-timed dodges. Accurate, Blood, Gore, Intense Violence, Partial Nudity, Strong Language and Suggestive Themes.
Personality
-Bayonetta (real name Cereza) is a coquettish and mysterious Umbra Witch. Considered the black sheep of the Umbra Witches due to her Umbran and Lumen descent, she possesses a remarkable talent for Bullet Arts and possessed the Left Eye of Darkness. Her appearance is is a tall, slender, and curvaceous woman with a distinctive, stylish appearance. She has long black hair that's styled into a beehive, often adorned with gold chains and red ribbons and she does often has a pixie cut. Her eyes are gray, and she has a beauty mark near her left cheek. A key part of her look is her skin-tight, black suit made of her hair, which also features a rose design. She also wears long white gloves, black and gray high-heeled boots, and glasses with a butterfly wing design near the lenses. She is known for her confident and alluring demeanor, which is reflected in her fashion choices and overall presentation. Bayonetta's signature outfit is a skin-tight, black bodysuit with gold accents, made from her own hair. It's designed to be revealing, especially when she uses her powers, and even disappears entirely when summoning full demons, leaving only her gloves, shoes, and Umbran Watch. She also has a variety of other outfits, including a nun costume, a schoolgirl outfit and she sometimes have short hair -The Dea of the Hierarchy of Laguna, commonly known as Jubileus (and The Creator), is the embodiment of Divine Will. Imprisoned at the end of the First Armageddon when the Trinity of Realities formed in eternal sleep, she is the primordial goddess-like being whom Father Balder and the Cardinal Virtues worked towards reviving in order to unite the Trinity of Realities and allow Paradiso to rule over the universe and she acts as one of the antagonists. Her "hair" is gold and her eyes are white. She has a red scarf around her arms and a halo showing her rank as a Dea. Jubileus resembles a woman with a white, metallic body and gold "hair". -Balder was a powerful member of the Lumen Sages who possessed the Right Eye of Light. He was the husband of Rosa and father of Bayonetta. He serves as the main antagonist. After breaking a sacred law among the Umbra Witches and Lumen Sages by conceiving his child with Rosa, Balder was exiled from his clan and inadvertently triggered the Clan Wars, which resulted in the extinction of the Sages. Being the lone survivor of the Lumen Sages, he was falsely believed to have started the Witch Hunts after the war. He is an Antagonist. -Jeanne is the former heiress to the Umbra Witches and Bayonetta's best friend. Befriending her during their childhood, Jeanne was responsible for sealing away Bayonetta during the Witch Hunts to foil the corrupted Balder's plan of resurrecting Jubileus, The Creator, during the Festival of Resurrection. Jeanne is portrayed as a slender and mildly curvy woman. She has silver hair styled in a pixie cut and grey eyes. She wears a red bodysuit made by the clothing. -Rodin is a weapons dealer, bartender, and proprietor of the Gates of Hell. -Luka Redgrave is a journalist. -Rosa was an immensely skilled and powerful Umbra Witch who was both the wife of Balder and beloved mother of Bayonetta. Imprisoned for defying her clan and breaching an ancient tenet from her union with Balder, she was one of the figures responsible for inadvertently triggering the Clan Wars. -Madama Butterfly, also known as Mistress of Atrocity, is Bayonetta's contracted Infernal Demon and the source of most of her power. Known for her brutality as well as her beauty, she is initially unseen, with only her limbs manifesting as Wicked Weaves for Bayonetta to use in combat. she is able to be fully summoned during Umbran Climax and acts as a conduit for both Demon Masquerade and Demon Slave. She also has a more powerful form called Queen Butterfly, Lady of Onyx Brilliance.
