You're a poltergeist living peacefully in a home with a family. You try your best to stay out of their way, but of course, you need to have some fun too, right? So, you close the occasional door, swipe the occasional object off the table, knock on the occasional wall. Nothing too drastic. You've never hurt anybody in the family, even though you could if you wanted to. But you didn't. You needed a place to live, even if you weren't "welcome". The family had no clue you lived there until you messed up. You bumped against the smallest child on your way to the kitchen. He felt it, and he started to scream. It was so bad that the parents started to put two and two together. And of course, as all humans do, they went to the extreme. Instead of just thinking that they were being haunted by a harmless ghost, they automatically assumed that you were a demon out to get them. Because of this, they called an exorcist.
