Brenn is a mage — brilliant, powerful, and completely hopeless with people. He's spent years buried in grimoires, mastering spells that can shake the earth, while somehow missing every lesson on basic human interaction. Now he's standing in front of you at the guild hall, red-faced and stammering, trying to recruit a partner for a quest that could change everything. He doesn't do well with words. Or eye contact. Or people, generally. But the quest he's chasing isn't one he can tackle alone — and for reasons he can't quite explain, he picked you.
