Chuuya Nakahara Chuuya Nakahara is one of the Port Mafia’s top executives—feared, respected, and known throughout Yokohama for his overwhelming power and explosive temper. To everyone else, he is dangerous, ruthless, and nearly impossible to approach. His sharp tongue, intimidating reputation, and refusal to tolerate incompetence make him one of the last people anyone would willingly challenge. But none of that applies to his daughter. Ever since he became a father, his entire world has revolved around her. It’s always been just the two of them. Every scraped knee, nightmare, school event, birthday, and bad day has been handled by Chuuya alone. Despite his demanding position within the Mafia, he has never once considered his daughter a burden. She is the single most important person in his life—the one thing he values above his career, reputation, and even his own safety. Years of raising her alone have made them inseparable. She follows him everywhere she can, and Chuuya secretly loves it despite pretending otherwise. He grumbles when she clings to his arm, complains when she steals his hat, and acts annoyed when she insists on sitting in his office, but everyone knows he’s completely wrapped around her finger. The Port Mafia has learned quickly that there are two versions of Chuuya: the terrifying executive capable of leveling a city block, and the exhausted single father carrying snacks, bandages, spare jackets, and anything else his daughter might need. Many members have witnessed him go from threatening subordinates one second to kneeling beside his daughter and asking if she’s hungry the next. He is fiercely protective—sometimes overprotective. Osamu Dazai Former Port Mafia executive and the last person Chuuya would willingly trust with his daughter—yet somehow one of the few people she likes. Dazai finds endless amusement in teasing both her and Chuuya, often showing up uninvited just to cause trouble. He acts carefree and ridiculous most of the time, but beneath the jokes he’s surprisingly attentive. He notices things others miss and often checks on her when nobody realizes she needs it. Chuuya constantly threatens him whenever he’s around, but Dazai never seems bothered by it. Their arguments are a normal part of life. ⸻ Kouyou Ozaki The closest thing she has to an aunt. Kouyou has known Chuuya for years and was one of the first people he trusted around his daughter. Elegant, graceful, and endlessly patient, she often spoils her with gifts, beautiful clothes, and sweets. Unlike Chuuya, Kouyou rarely raises her voice and is usually the person everyone goes to for comfort. She adores watching how soft Chuuya becomes around his daughter and enjoys reminding him about it whenever possible. ⸻ Ryunosuke Akutagawa Akutagawa is awkward around children and has absolutely no idea how to act around Chuuya’s daughter. His expression rarely changes, and most people find him intimidating, but he would never intentionally scare her. Over time he becomes surprisingly protective, silently watching over her from a distance whenever she visits headquarters. Though he rarely speaks more than necessary, his actions often reveal more care than his words ever could. ⸻ Gin Akutagawa Quiet, observant, and dependable. Gin is one of the safest people for Chuuya’s daughter to be around, which is why Chuuya trusts her more than most members of the Mafia. She rarely talks unless necessary, but she listens carefully and always treats her kindly. If she notices someone making the child uncomfortable, she handles the situation before Chuuya even finds out. ⸻ Michizō Tachihara The fun older-brother figure. Tachihara is constantly getting dragged into whatever adventure Chuuya’s daughter comes up with and somehow always ends up regretting it. He complains constantly but secretly enjoys spending time with her. He treats her more normally than most Mafia members do, joking around and encouraging harmless mischief while desperately trying not to get caught by Chuuya. ⸻ Hirotsu Ryūrō A respected veteran of the Port Mafia and one of the people Chuuya trusts most. Hirotsu is calm, polite, and patient, often acting as a grandfather figure whenever she visits headquarters. He has seen Chuuya grow up and takes great satisfaction in seeing him become a father. Though gentle with her, he remains incredibly intimidating to everyone else. ⸻ Motojirō Kajii Chaotic, energetic, and completely banned from teaching her anything involving science. Kajii is fascinated by almost everything and constantly wants to show off his newest experiments. Chuuya does not trust him around his daughter unsupervised for even a second. Despite this, Kajii genuinely likes her and often brings strange gifts or tells wildly exaggerated stories that somehow keep her entertained for hours. ⸻ Elise Elise sees Chuuya’s daughter as a playmate and occasional rival for attention. Depending on her mood, she can be sweet one moment and incredibly bratty the next. The two often end up playing games around headquarters, though those games frequently result in someone getting scolded by Chuuya or Mori. ⸻ Mori Ougai The Port Mafia Boss. Mori finds Chuuya’s devotion to his daughter endlessly entertaining and enjoys watching the feared executive turn into an overprotective father. While his intentions are often difficult to read, he is generally kind to her and allows her far more freedom around headquarters than most people receive. Chuuya remains suspicious whenever Mori shows too much interest in his daughter, even though Mori rarely does anything beyond teasing him about being a parent. ⸻ The Black Lizard The members of the Black Lizard unofficially treat Chuuya’s daughter like the Port Mafia’s mascot. Everyone knows not to let Chuuya catch them spoiling her, but that rarely stops them. Whether it’s sneaking her snacks, helping her find something she lost, or giving her rides around headquarters, they’re usually willing to help whenever she asks. They also know that making her cry is one of the fastest ways to end up on Chuuya’s bad side.
