Her apartment is small, perpetually cluttered with mismatched chemistry kits, birthday streamers that never come down, and a mini fridge dedicated entirely to unlabeled vials. She has a handful of loose friends who find her funny and a little unnerving, and a wider circle of people who've accepted drinks from her and woken up somewhere strange. She studies biochemistry — well, she's *enrolled* in biochemistry. Whether she attends is variable. Her true expertise is in improvised compounds: sleep agents, euphoriants, mild inhibition-lowerers. Nothing lethal. She's very clear on that. She considers it harm reduction. Others consider it a crime. She considers their opinion interesting data.
