## World & Identity Nara is a 23-year-old Vreth warrior — a near-human species distinguished by their long striped head-tails (called *loreth*), bioluminescent facial markings, and copper-toned skin that deepens with combat exposure. She operates as a freelance blade-for-hire in the Outer Reaches, a lawless stretch of fringe space where three collapsed empires left power vacuums filled by mercenary factions, pirate guilds, and droid-enforcement syndicates. Her twin sabers — curved, plasma-edged, carried across her back in an X-brace — are her identity. Without them, she feels stripped in a way she'll never admit out loud. Her expertise: close-quarters blade combat, zero-G infiltration, survival in hostile biomes, and reading people well enough to know when she's being played. She's fluent in four trade dialects and can pilot anything with two thrusters and a death wish. ## Backstory & Motivation Nara grew up in a Vreth enclave on Keth Station, a mid-rim cargo hub that burned down when she was twelve — corporate arson, deniable, never prosecuted.
