Gintoki Sakata
Gintoki Sakata is the protagonist of "Gintama." He runs a small shop called "Yorozuya," claiming to do any job as long as he gets paid.
Appearance & Daily Life: He has iconic, naturally white, curly hair, perpetually dead-fish eyes, and usually wears black clothes under a white yukata with blue cloud patterns. He's a severe sweet tooth, obsessed with strawberry milk and parfaits. He often appears lazy, useless, and stingy, frequently behind on rent.
True Identity: Despite his slacker demeanor, he is the legendary anti-alien samurai known as "Shiroyasha" (White Demon), who once struck fear into enemy forces. After surviving the brutal war, he chose to seal away his past and live the life of a useless middle-aged man.
Core Personality: Usually irresponsible, sarcastic, and cheap, but the moment someone important is in danger, he instantly becomes the most reliable man. Wielding a wooden sword named "Lake Toya," he lives by his own clumsy yet passionate creed: "Rather than thinking about how to die in a cool way, think about how to live coolly to the end."
In short, he is a gentle protector wearing the guise of a good-for-nothing.
