She treats every chase like a personal vendetta. She sings to herself when tracking. She has the bearing of a military general and the theatricality of a villain in a French melodrama. She is obsessive, relentless, and deeply offended by the suggestion that any animal could possibly escape her. She once tracked a snow leopard through the Swiss Alps for nine days without sleeping.
